Pricing & Payment
No. There are delivery fees for each city that are added to your quote once your delivery city is selected. See our service area page for a complete guide.
Cash or Credit Cards. If paying by cash, please have exact change as our drivers do not carry cash.
Yes, all orders require a 20% Credit Card deposit. They are fully refundable if you cancel your order at least 8 days prior to your rental date. If you cancel between 2-7 days prior to your rental, you will be given a rain check that is good for 1 year.
No. We believe in transparent pricing. The price you see is the price you pay plus the delivery fees for that city. Delivery fees will be displayed in the quote, once you add your city. If you don't see you city as an option, call for a quote. We do service cities outside the listed delivery area for some order types.
Yes! If you're renting multiple items like a bounce house, water slide, and concession machines together, give us a call at (888) 420-5867. We can often put together a package deal that saves you money compared to renting each item separately.
Delivery & Service Area
Yes, but please be aware that due to rising gas prices and the possible need for an extra truck and labor, travel fees can be quite high for distant locations. Please call our office for a current quote.
North Bay Jump delivers throughout Sonoma County, Napa County, Marin County, Mendocino County, and Lake County. This includes Santa Rosa, Petaluma, Rohnert Park, Windsor, Healdsburg, Sebastopol, Novato, San Rafael, Napa, Calistoga, St. Helena, Ukiah, Lakeport, and over 50 other North Bay communities. Visit our Service Area page for the full list.
We love setting up at parks but most parks do NOT have electricity. If you want to set up at a park, you must rent a generator. We rent generators at a reasonable cost. Also, parks are first come, first serve so get your spot early in the day.
Yes! We regularly deliver to wineries, wedding venues, corporate facilities, and private event spaces throughout Napa Valley, Sonoma County, and the greater North Bay Area. Many venues require proof of insurance, which we're happy to provide.
Same-day delivery may be available depending on our schedule and your location. Call our office as early as possible and we'll do our best to accommodate last-minute requests. Same-day bookings are subject to availability.
Setup & Rental Time
No. We arrive early to set up so you get the entire rental time to play. Your rental period begins when setup is complete.
That depends on how many rentals we have that day. Generally we arrive 1-3 hours before the rental time begins. If we have a lot of rentals that day, we may need to set up as early as 4 hours in advance. If this is the case, we will call the Friday before to confirm that someone will be at the party location.
We can set up on grass (our favorite and best for the kids), dirt, asphalt, and concrete. Sorry, we can't set up on any type of rocks as the constant rubbing will wear through the vinyl jumps.
Yes. An adult (18 years or older) must be present during both delivery/setup and pickup/takedown. This person will need to sign the rental agreement and review the safety rules with our team.
Yes! Our standard rental period is 6 hours, but we offer extended rentals and overnight options for an additional fee. Contact us to discuss extended rental times for your event.
If you have stairs or a tiered backyard, please call our office to discuss options for setup. We can often find solutions, but we need to know about your space in advance to plan accordingly.
Space & Equipment Requirements
Most of our jumps (all of our character jumps for example) are 15'x15' which is a little bigger than many companies rent. Please note the space required for each jump (listed near the large picture) as some are VERY big and require extra space. When in doubt, measure your space to make sure it will fit. Jumps need room to be staked and they need room for the blower and can't rub against walls or trees as this may damage the jump. The sizes listed with each jump include the space needed for stakes etc.
Check the requirements listed with each jump. Also, make sure you have at least 4 feet of access to the area where it will be set up. The jumps can weigh up to 650 pounds so we need a clear path with ample room.
You'll need to provide:
- A flat, clear setup area that meets size requirements
- Access to an electrical outlet within 50 feet (or rent a generator from us)
- An adult supervisor (18+) present during the entire rental
- Clear access for our delivery team (at least 4 feet wide)
We provide everything else: the inflatable, blower, stakes or sandbags, extension cords, and complete setup/takedown service.
No problem! We have smaller bounce houses and compact inflatables designed to fit in tighter spaces. Call us with your measurements and we'll help you find the perfect rental for your available space.
Yes, we can set up certain inflatables indoors if you have adequate ceiling height (usually 15+ feet) and floor space. Indoor setups require sandbags instead of stakes. Contact us to discuss your indoor venue requirements.
Cleanliness & Safety
Absolutely. The bounce house should be clean when you get it. North Bay Jump cleans and disinfects every inflatable after every rental. We take pride in delivering equipment that's fresh, sanitized, and ready for your guests.
Yes. A blower keeps air in the jump unit the entire time. Once unplugged they deflate. That's why we require an outlet within 50 feet of the unit or a generator. Longer cords can pop your circuit breaker so we bring our own heavy duty cords.
Yes. There is a link in your receipt once you've ordered or you may contact our office to request a copy before booking.
Yes and no. You are not responsible for normal wear and tear on our units. Seams may develop tears in high traffic areas over a period of time. If this happens please alert us at once so we can remedy the situation. If however, damage occurs due to failure to follow our safety rules or negligence (i.e. not turning off the blower in high winds) you will be responsible for all damages up to and including replacement of the unit/blower etc which can cost thousands of dollars. We don't want you or us to be in that situation which is why we have you sign and initial on all of our safety rules so that you can be the trained operator.
Yes! We are fully licensed and carry comprehensive liability insurance. This is especially important for schools, churches, parks, and venues that require proof of insurance before allowing inflatables on their property. We can provide a certificate of insurance upon request.
Safety comes first. If severe weather develops (high winds, lightning, heavy rain), the inflatable must be turned off immediately. We monitor weather conditions and will contact you if there are serious concerns. If weather prevents safe use, we'll work with you to reschedule or provide a rain check.
Booking & Cancellations
Please check out our policies page for full details. In general, deposits are fully refundable if you cancel at least 8 days prior to your rental date. Cancellations between 2-7 days prior receive a rain check valid for 1 year.
We recommend booking at least 1-2 weeks in advance, especially for weekend events and during peak season (spring and summer). Popular items like water slides and large obstacle courses book up quickly. For holiday weekends, school events, and graduations, booking 3-4 weeks ahead is ideal.
Booking is easy! Browse our rental categories on our website, select the items you want, choose your event date and time, and complete checkout. You'll receive a confirmation email with all the details. You can also call us at (888) 420-5867 to book over the phone.
Yes! Contact us as soon as possible if you need to add items, swap rentals, or change your event time. We'll do our best to accommodate changes based on availability. Changes made within 48 hours of your event may be limited.
Generators & Power Requirements
You only need a generator if you don't have access to an electrical outlet within 50 feet of where the inflatable will be set up. This is common at parks, open fields, and some outdoor venues. We rent generators at a reasonable cost—just add one to your order or call us.
Most bounce house blowers require a standard 15-20 amp household outlet. Larger inflatables and water slides may require dedicated circuits. We bring heavy-duty extension cords rated for our equipment. Avoid plugging other high-draw appliances into the same circuit to prevent tripping breakers.
A 2,000-watt generator is typically sufficient for one standard bounce house or water slide. Multiple units or larger inflatables may require a bigger generator. When you rent a generator from us, we'll make sure it's properly sized for your specific order.
Event Types & Planning Tips
For birthday parties, our most popular rentals are themed bounce houses, combo bouncers with slides, and water slides (for summer birthdays). Add a concession machine like popcorn or cotton candy to make it extra special. We can help you choose the right size and style based on the birthday child's age and your guest count.
For school events, we recommend a mix of attractions: inflatable obstacle courses for high-energy competition, carnival games for variety, bounce houses for younger kids, and concession machines for that authentic carnival experience. Trackless trains and rock climbing walls are also crowd favorites for large school events.
Absolutely! We work with businesses throughout the North Bay for company picnics, team building events, employee appreciation days, and corporate celebrations. Our obstacle courses, interactive games, and adult-friendly inflatables are perfect for corporate events. We can also provide tents, tables, and chairs.
Many of our inflatables are adult-friendly! Our obstacle courses, interactive games, and larger bounce houses and water slides are designed to handle adult use. Check the weight limits on each product page or call us for recommendations on adult-friendly rentals for corporate events, grad parties, and family reunions.
Yes! Graduation parties are one of our most popular events. Water slides are perfect for late spring and early summer graduations. We also recommend combo bouncers, obstacle courses, and concession machines to keep guests entertained throughout the celebration.
